Webinars for PLP Staff
The webinars listed below are intended for the use of Parent Linking Program (PLP) staff and caregivers employed in PLP child care centers. Upon successful completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion after we verify that participants have viewed the entire webinar. After viewing webinars, staff should document the professional development hours in the MIS Database or notify your program coordinator who will document in the database.

Ages & Stages Questionnaire-3 – Refresher*
The goal of this webinar is to review how to administer, score and interpret the ASQ-3 . Below are handouts that accompany the webinar. Period of PURPLE Training
This training is provided through the National Center on Shaken Baby Syndrome. Follow the steps below to complete the training.
Step 1:

Step 2: Once logged in, see “My Available Courses”, click on “Period of PURPLE Crying Program Training for Implementation.
Step 3: Read the instructions in this section.
Step 4: When ready to begin the training click, “Continue to Module” and complete each lesson.
Step 5: Once you have completed the module, save your certificate of completion and email it to [email protected].
PLP Orientation Training
The purpose of this webinar is to orient newly hired program staff to the Parent Linking Program. This orientation will cover: The history of the PLP, Program Goals and Core Components, Staffing requirements, curricula and assessments tools used, Prevent Child Abuse-NJ’s role in supporting you and the program’s outcomes and effectiveness.
